Studio A (live room)
Studio A is a live room with warm, clear acoustics perfect for acoustic recording. The piano is a restored Steinway Hamburg D 9' grand that was shipped from a Moscow concert hall. Restored by famous piano repairman Sam Powell, this magnificent Steinway has all of the sonic clarity and precision a concert pianist demands. Whether used as a solo instrument, chamber or a pop recording this piano delivers a unique sound rarely heard in a studio recording. Please listen to some of the samples on our music page. The heart of the recording system is a Pyramix 5.1 surround recording/editing system, a Genex 9048 hard disk recorder which allows 48 channels of DSD, 192k, 96k, .... all connected to the Trident Di-An console. We can also take your Pro Tools sessions and import them into Pyramix and export them back to Pro Tools.
